  1. Anne Hampden is my 7th great grandmother. She married Sir Robert Pye 26 Nov 1641, Faringdon, Berkshire. Known children. Hampton Pye b. 1647 Faringdon, Lettice Pye, b. 1653 Faringdon, Edmund Pye, b. 1658 Faringdon. Richard Pye, B. 1654 Faringdon. I descend from Edmund who married The Hon Anne Crew b. 1637 Steane, Northamptonshire. Edmund and Anne had 8 children, my ancestor is Henry Pye Whom married first, Jane Curzon. 2.   2. Anne Hampden did have 3 Sons Richard, Hampden & Edmund Pye. Richard died young Hampden died at sea around 1700 and Edmund became a doctor and married Anne Crewe. They had several children and were the grandparents of Admiral Sir Thomas Pye, and the Great Grandparents of Henry James Pye the poet Laureate.
