The Battle of Aylesbury is one of those events that seems always to evoke strong emotions. The publication of Charles Cordell’s historical novel, “God’s Vindictive Wrath”, has revived the debate about whether the battle actually happened, and if who was involved, and where and when was it fought. Member Dale Smith has produced a helpful summary of what we know about the battle that will be helpful to other members and those in engaged in future discussions. Several members of the Society assisted Dale in his research.
